15. DESCRIPTION OF IT SERVICES AND PRICING

R. REA CORP. offers the following IT services, SIN 132-51:

IT Facility Operations and Maintenance (FPDS Code D301). R. REA CORP. offers IT Facility Operations and Maintenance services across a wide range of commercial ADP equipment and software. We provide facility planning; client/server migrations; operational support; technical support; end user support; help desk operations; computer operations; remedial and preventive maintenance management; security management; communications operations; system performance analysis and management; systems tuning; systems programming; product evaluation and recommendations; capacity planning; and security analysis, implementation, and management.

IT Systems Development Services (FPDS Class D302). R. REA CORP. services include requirements analysis, process analysis and design, cost/benefit analysis, product evaluation and analysis, quality assurance planning, test planning, training planning, logical and physical IT system design, configuration management, and implementation and support. For each project, R. REA CORP furnishes complete documentation and deliverables in accordance with the approved methodology.

IT Systems Analysis Services (FPDS Class D306): R. REA CORP. offers the analysis and design of a broad variety of information, business, and scientific systems applications. R. REA CORP. analyzes business processes and, through intensive interaction with the user and technical communities, documents current and improved processes, defines requirements, and submits the results to the customer for review and approval. Upon approval, R. REA CORP. designs the application using state-of-the-art methodologies, techniques, and tools. We will use a customer defined methodology or a R. REA CORP. flexible and proven methodology. These methodologies can include business process reengineering, prototyping, and pilot tests. Also included in this area are systems and applications software maintenance. For each project, R. REA CORP. furnishes complete documentation and deliverables in accordance with the approved methodology for users and systems personnel.

Automated Information Systems Design and Integration Services (FFDS Code 307) R. REA CORP. services include requirements analysis, process analysis and design, commercially of the shelf (COTS) hardware and software, cost/benefit analysis, product evaluation and analysis, quality assurance planning, test planning, training planning, logical and physical IT system design and integration, configuration management, and implementation and support. For each project, R. REA CORP furnishes complete documentation and deliverables in accordance with the approved methodology.

IT Backup and Security Services (FPDS Code D310): R. REA CORP. offers support for IT Backup and Security for end user computing systems. Our structured approach includes but not limited to awareness training, threats and vulnerabilities, a comprehensive analysis and review of corporate information security policies and procedures, surveys, interviews, on-site observations and information system penetration testing. For each project, R. REA CORP. furnishes complete documentation and deliverables in accordance with the approved methodology for users and systems personnel.

IT Data Conversion Services (FPDS Code D311): R. REA CORP. offers support for conversion of applications programs, databases, network operating systems, and end user computing systems. The services include but are not limited to, analysis of the conversion requirement; cost/benefit analysis of alternatives; development of comprehensive test plans; design and construction of conversion routines and filters; system conversion; migration of the new system/data to the target hardware and software infrastructure; complete system and user acceptance testing; and post-conversion review. For each project, R. REA CORP. furnishes complete documentation and deliverables in accordance with the approved methodology for users and systems personnel

IT Network Management Services (FPDS Code D316): R. REA CORP. services for local, metropolitan, and wide area networks include but are not limited to, network requirements analysis, planning, design, engineering, installation, operations, help desk support, performance monitoring, performance tuning, security management, firewall design and construction, and classified support. For each project, R. REA CORP. furnishes complete documentation and deliverables in accordance with the approved methodology for users and Systems personnel.

Other Information Technology Services, Not Elsewhere Classified (FFDS Code D399)

Systems Installation: R. REA CORP. offers complete installation services for networks, end user computing systems, and COTS and custom software. The installation includes but is not limited to, the analysis of the system being installed; identification of all related tasks and activities; compilation of all needed materials, software, and hardware; design of a comprehensive testing and verification plan; coordination with all affected organizations; full hardware and software installation; execution of the system test plan; participation in the user acceptance test; and post-installation reviews. For each project, R. REA CORP. furnishes complete documentation and deliverables in accordance with the approved methodology for users and systems personnel.

Internet Support: R. REA CORP. offers support for the implementation and maintenance of Internet systems, to include world wide web support; home page design and construction; Intranet design and implementation; Web and Intranet security management; HTML programming; Java and PerI technical support; graphics visualization and design; and multimedia applications analysis, design, development, and deployment.

Strategic Information Technologies Planning, Program Assessment, and Studies: R. REA CORP. offers services to support the development, analysis, and implementation of information technologies strategies and architectures. Services include program planning and assessment, risk/trade-off analyses, requirements analyses, alternatives analyses, and feasibility studies.


Labor Category Descriptions


Title: 1 Project Manager

Minimum/General Experience: Ten years experience in Systems engineering or the business/technology directly relating to the assigned business segment. Five years of supervisory experience, in a lead or management role, with a demonstrated success in the ability to staff and lead/manage technically oriented projects and personnel. Experienced in directing large efforts as well as multiple concurrent smaller efforts. Knowledgeable of the federal contract and procurement regulations.

Functional Responsibility: Serves as the overall manager for a contract and lead for complex technical projects. Authorized single point of responsibility and authority to coordinate all activities of the project to meet deadlines and budgets and to resolve conflicting demands of users. Establishes costs and determines resource requirements. Responsible for the administrative, contractual, and financial aspects of projects. Oversees the quality assurance efforts of the contract or project.

Possible Job Titles: Program Manager, Senior Technical Advisor, Software Quality Assurance Manager, and Senior Software Manager.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business, or equivalent experience.

Title: 2. Senior Network Engineer
Minimum General Experience: Seven years IT experience including four years supporting network environments and one year supervising network related activities. In-depth knowledge of network management tools, techniques, and procedures. Experienced in developing monitoring, and reporting network performance metrics.

Functional Responsibility: Supervises and provides technical support in evaluating and resolving network and processor problems. Designs, installs, and may maintain networks that link numerous computing platforms, operating systems, network topologies, and network protocols.

Possible Job Titles: Principal Engineer, Senior Communications Engineer, Senior LAN Engineer, Senior Computer Specialist, Senior Training Specialist.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.

Title: 3. Network Engineer
Minimum/General Experience: Six years ADP technical experience including three years supporting network environments. Knowledge of network management tools and techniques. Experienced at measuring and reporting network performance.

Functional Responsibility: Provides technical support in evaluating and resolving network and processor problems. Responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of networks.

Possible Job Titles: Senior Engineer, Communications Engineer, LAN Engineer, Senior Computer Specialist, Training Specialist.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Title: 4. Systems Engineer
Minimum General Experience: Six years experience in systems programming, analysis, and development, including two years of development involving hardware and communications components. Experienced in COTS product analysis and recommendation as integral to the system design.

Functional Responsibility: Applies systems analysis techniques and procedures to design computer systems according to user requirements. Develops design to support functional description. Considers software, hardware, and standards information technology skills in designing architectures and software for system interoperability, portability, and scalability.

Possible Job Titles: Senior Programmer/Analyst, Senior Systems Analyst, Telecommunications Analyst, Senior Database Analyst, Information Engineer, Senior Customer Support Specialist.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
